About Us
Needham Fire & Rescue is a progressive combination fire department
located about 30 miles north of Houston. The department was founded
in 1977 as a volunteer department and in 2004 began staffing with paid
personal. Today we serve the communities of Shenandoah, Glen Eagles,
Montgomery Creek Ranch, Woodloch, Forest Hills, Carriage Hills and
Jacobs Reserve. Staffing consists of 38 paid staff and 30 volunteers.
Our command staff consists of a chief, assistant chief, deputy chief,
4 captains and 3 Lieutenants. We operate state of the art equipment with
trained staff to meet the challenges of virtually any emergency situation.
Needham Fire & Rescue also provides First Responder medical services
with MCHD to our community.
